A BERLIN STATEMENT
THE DECEMBER DESTRUCTION.

LONDON, Ist February. An official message frqm Berlin states that 152 enemy steamers, aggregating 329,000 tons, and sixty-five neutral vessels carrying contraband were, sunk during December. Four million tons of enemy shipping, of which 3,000,000 was British, has been sunk during the war; also 401' neutral vessels,' aggregating 537,000 tons. , b b b
