V.M.C.A.
The opening night of the Boys' Department of the Y.M.C,A. will be held next Friday evening, at their rooms, in Upper Willis-street. The boys' work director, Mr. Hume, would like to meet all intending new members, and also the boys who have been members during the past year. It is hoped to have a large membership this year.
The Scouts, who are part of the department, have a membership of 80. Tins evening a "pound night" will be held in the Y.jM.C.A., and all old scouts of the troop are cordially invited to attend. A presentation of badges will be made, and the rest of the evening will bo devoted to entertainment. Mr. Donkiu, Commander of Wellington Central District, would like to meet all boys who iu'e desirous of becoming scouts or members of the department. Applicants should write to the Y.IM.C.A. or to the District Commander, at 205 a, Tinakoriroad.
