The following is the latest estimate of the German casualties reported in the German official casualty lists :—, Casualties (exclusive of corrections) reported during the month of November, 1916 :— Killed and died of wounds 28,729 Died of sickness 1,625 [Prisoners 1,472 [Missing 30,678 ! 3,921,869 The above figures, (says the London Daily Telegraph) include all German nationalities — Prussians, Bavarians, Saxons, and Wurlembcrgers. They do not include naval casualties or casualties of colonial troops. It should be noted that the above figures do not constitute an estimate by the British authorities, but merely represent the casualties announced in German official lists. It should also be noted that the casualties are those reported during the month of November—not reported a« having been incurred iji November.
