PROFIT OF WAR
A STRONGER,,, BETTER EMPIRE,
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 30th January Mr. W. F. Massey (Prime Minister of New Zealand), speaking at Batley, said that from the beginning of the war he had been confident that the Empire would come through the crisis stronger, better, and brighter. He hoped that after the war an effort woxild be made to keep the British within the Empire. The future of the Empire rested largely upon the Dominions, and our Empire should be made self-contained and selfsupporting.
