'A ceremony humbling to the Greets Kas taken place at 'Athens, where tiie Greek troops lowered their flags and saluted those of the Allies. Faith in Germany is waning, but the Eoyalists are hoping for a German victory some-, where to galvanise the nation. It is definitely stated that the Kaiser advised Constantihe to accept the ultimatum, as Germany was unable to send forces to Greece. A former Paris journalist, now on General Foch's staff, declares that Germany's only hope is in delivering a stunning blow in the "West, and that she must lose unless she obtains a decision before June. French correspondents insist that the French preparations are so complete that she can attack on a big scale whenever and wherever she chooses. It is expected in America that President Wilson will make another move to bring about peace. _ British, French, and Italian representatives have arrived at Petrograd to confer on military and political matters.
