MOTOR-BOAT PATROL
RECRUITS REQUIRED.
The Defence authorities have been advised by the Imperial Government t'p-t recruits are required for service in „ 1 motor auxiliary patrol vessels. Recruits are not required to be professional sailors, but should have a knowledge of the sea and the handling of small craft as amateur yachtsmen. The ages of applicants must be between 21 and 35 years. Men desirous of entering this service; should register their names with the District Defence Headquarters at either Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin, and furnish full particulars of their qualifications, which should he certified to by some reputable person.
Representatives of the British Admiralty will arrive in the Dominion shortly, when full particulars as to pay allowances, etc., will be furnished.
