ALARM IN HUNGARY
AN INVASION OF REFUGEES,

ROME, Ist September.
A wireless report states that Hungary is arming all citizens, irrespective of their age. A hundred thousand fugitives from Transylvania are invading Hungary, where general alarm is felt at the rapidity of the Rumanian advance and the weakness of Hungary's defences. Already all the principal Transylvanian towns near the Alpine passes have been lost.
