A SATISFACTORY REPORT
Surgeon-General Henderson, DirectorGeneral of Medical Services, stated today that the remaining serious cerebrospinal meningitis case at Trentham wa,s much the same. Otherwise the reports from both camps were satisfactory.
Speaking to a Post reporter yesterday regarding Featherston camp, which he visited on Thursday, Professor F. P. Worley, Professor of Chemistry at Auckland University, stated that he thought the camp was extremely good and efficient. The care that was being taken of the health of the troops was excellent, and he thought tho public had no need for apprehension as regards what was being done for the men in camp.. He considered that the men were extremely healthy, and the cleanliness and care being taken were absolutely admirable. . Everything that could be done for the men was being done. This applied particularly to the men in hospital, for which he thought every one had good cause to be thankful. '
