MUSIC TO THE PICTURE
Illustrative music to topical film pictures ought to be well chosen, if rather obvious. Thus in some new war pictures in London " "From the British Front " the natural accompaniment to the conveyance on board a hospital ship at a French port of the British wounded is " Home, Sweet Home," and the same familiar air is played when Tommy in the trenches gets his letters and parcels from the Post Office. One of the films shows a group of very natty staff officers, evidently somewhat embarrassed under the eye of the camera. It is perhaps with an object that the censorship has allowed this particular picture to be wedded to the tuno " I'm Gilbert the FttberW-
