TOKIO, 16th August. Official: The encounters between Japanese and Chinese at Cheng Chia. Tung continued ..throughout the night of the 13th. The Governor of Mukden, on receiving the report, ordered.. the Chinese to c;ease. . ; He visited the Japanese Consul and expressed hia deepest regret.
