MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS., Lnst evening's meeting of the Management Committee of . the Wellington Football Association -was presided ovei" by Mr. A. E. Wells. It was decided that all matches should be played on Saturday. This decision was come to on account of the city reserves not being available after loth September, also on account of so many postponements having taken placa during the last few weeks. Mr. J. F. Atkins -was accorded a vote of thanks for having donateoS a cup for competition in. the Fifth Division Challenge Cup competition. In view of the representative schools fixture, which will be playerl with Christchm-eh lit the end of the season, it was decided to ask x the muster? of schools interested to forward nomina lions of players willing to take part in trial'games. It was further decided to write, asking Canterbury to make m rangeinents for the proposed match.

Mr. , Mason, of Porirua .School, reported that 'the suburbs competition would probably be finished nest week.

A vote of thanks was passed to the Patriotic Society's Bnnd for its services on Saturday last in connection with the benefit match.

Considerable discussion ensued ovet1 several propositions in regard to providing funds for the promotion of schools football. It was finally decided to leave the matter in. the hands of the chairman and Messrs. H. M'Keowen, O'Driscoll, and Yeoman. This subcommittee is to report'at next meeting. Island Bay. a* Kilbiniio Reserve (Mr. Evans);" Marist N (2) v. Worser Hay, at Association Park (Mr. Josephs).
