JOHNSONVILLE CLUB.
In its report to be presented at thei annual meeting, the Johnsonville Bowling Club states that owing to the limited membership only half the green was used last season. Club competitions were not; completed when the season closed.' Thei champion singles, was won by Mr. A. Morgan, who was presented"with thei vice-president's trophy. The club won i the Edwin Feathers from Thorndon, and had held them for five consecutive games i till beaten by Lyall Bay. One of thai directors, Mr. Norman Cook, has en- j listed for active service* The number | of members when the season closed was! twenty-eight, and the directors hope that | efforts will be made to secure more metn-i bers during next season-.
