LODGE MEETING
•The weekly session of the Pioneer Lodge, 1.0. G.T., was held in the Rechabite Hall, Manners-street, on. Monday night, Bro. Millan, 0.T., presiding over a large attendance of members. One candidate was proposed for membership. The quarterly reports of the various officers were received and adopted, showing the lodge to be in a sound position numerically and financially. The report on the Juvenile Temple was also submitted by "the Superintendent, and after a. lengthy discussion a committee was set up to review the whole position and report at next meeting. The following officers elected for the ensuing term were duly installed by Bro. D. Wyse, D.C.T., assisted by Bro. Goer (Star of Wellington) and Sister Earsman :—C.T., Bro. Millan ; V.T., Sister Mrs. Harding, sen. ; secretary, Bro. Trevethick; F. secretary, Sister L. Richards; treasurer, Sister J. Webb; chaplain, Sister Mrs. Miller; marshal, Bro. Ward; D. marshal, Sister M. Richards; guard, Bro. Ullmer; sentinel, Bro. Rowe; P.C.T., Bro. Petherick ; A. Ses., Sister Campion ; pianiste, Sister H. Miller; registrar, Sister J. W-ebb. The Harmony Committee's programme for the new term was received and adopted. The item for the evening was "Scotch Night," arranged by the Earsman family, who were tendered a cordial vote of thanks for their services. At next meeting Bro. Currie is responsible.
