As the result of beiug knocked down by a motor-car yesterday, a man named Charles M'Donakl was admitted to the Hospital suffering from a broken leg. il'Donald was crossing tbe road at 'the intersection of Cuba and Dixon streets, and apparently did not see a- motor-car going in the direction of Upper Cubastreet. He is reported to be progressing favourably.
Mr. David P. HovvcUs, proprietor of the Austrajiaji iind Now Zealand rights to Metro and World Film motion pictures, is leaving for Sydney by the Rivorina tomorrow. Ho has arranged for the introduction of sevonil new Jines of pictures in the Dominion.
