BIG INSURANCE DEAL
MELBOURNE, 15th August. The London and Lancashire Fire Insurance Company has arranged to acquire the Amalgamated Insurance Company of Australia, Ltd., conditional on the transfer to the London and Lancashire Company of 140,000 out of 160,000 5s fully paid-up shares on to the register of the vendor of the concern before 30th September.
