MACDONALD.—On the 30th July, 1016 (suddenly), at her residence, York-street, Titnaru, Julia, relict of the late J. A. Macdon&ld; aged 56 years, mother of Mr. J. W. Macdonald, Mrs. Pryde, and the late Sergeant Gordon Macdonald, New Zealand Expeditionary Force. JONES.—On the 6th August, James (Jim), third dearly beloved son of Captain James Jones, 46, Oriental Bay. tOPER.—On the 6th August; 1916, at Wellington, Honoria Amelia, late beloved wife of Staff Sergt.-Major J. D. Loper (on active ' service), of Crawford-road; aged S3 years.
