(By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received June 17, 2.30 p.m.) PETROGRAD, 17th June. The Russian successes continue. A further 14,000 prisoners have been taken.
COPENHAGEN, 16th June.
German newspapers state that the Russians, after three hours' bombardment, destroyed strong Austro-German lines north of Baranovitch. Fifty thousand Russians attacked, but, advancing overfar, were compelled to fall back two miles. The newspaper adds : "The AustroGermans are now strongly reinforced, and have taken up new positions." ZURICH, 16th June. Correspondents at Austrian headquarters report that the fighting north of Baranovitch lias developed with unparalleled severity.
