LONDON, 16th June. Mr. T. P. O'Connor, writing in Reynolds newspaper, says that Mr. Lloyd George's settlement is the only alternative to a- regime of coercion and anarchy. Martil law is not further needed. The Government should send no Chief Secretary in the event of a settlement, but a Lord-Lieutenant, as a V symbol" of- Ireland's and as a necessary, head of the executive. :
