MARTIAL LAW AS A PRECAUTION
(Received if ay 31, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, 30th May. In the House of Commons,-Mr. Asq'uith stated that martial Jaw would continue in Ireland as a precaution. He hoped its disappearance would bo speedy and complete. It would be resorted to only in urgent cases.
