POSITION OF MEN ON ACTIVE ■•'■■■ SERVICE. (»T lELBGRAPH—SPECIAL TO IHE POST.) AUCKLAND, This Day. - , The decision of the Government to take a census also provides for the quinquennial"' revision of the electoral boundaries. Before the revision is undertaken the Representation Commissioners sit as a joint Commission to determine th.c quota of population for each electoral district. The Prime Minister was asked last evening whether any allowance would be made in this calculation for the absence of men on active service. Mr. Massey replied that such an allowance could only be made if- authorised by legislation. It was quite possible that such legislation would be introduced this session. ■ . ■ . .
