WHAKARUA AT SYDNEY
A cable message announces the arrival in Sydney of the liner Whakarua, from New York. The vessel left the United States port on 16th March. From Sydney she'proceeds to New Zealand ports.
The Union Company's latest announcement regantins the Takapuna, is that it is hoped to despatch the vessel at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Shaw Savill steamer, Mniaari, en route from London to Wellington, is expected to reach Auckland about the end of the month.
