At The King's Theatre next week, commencing on Monday night, one of the world's biggest dramatic successes will be shown as a motion-picture. "Jim the Penman," as written by Sir Charles L. Young, was practically the true story of the notorious forger who will be remembered by many as having baffled the police for many years and who finally handed himself over to justice. In the story we see the overpowering motives that well nigh forced James Balston to a career of crime, and' whose life was spent in deep remorse and retribution.
