SEVERAL DEATH SENTENCES
COMMUTED
(By Tefcgraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received May 6, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, sth May. Official.—Joseph Plunkett, Edward Daly, Michael Shannahan, and William Pearse were court-martialled and shot at Dublin.
The death sentence passed on fifteen of the Dublin rebels has been commuted to ten years' imprisonment. Another who. was sentenced to death has been sent to gaol for eight years. Two other rebels have received sentences of ten years' imprisonment.
