The Frankfurter Zeitung says that Mr. Hughes has become the darling of the English Jingoes. His attitude embarrasses the Government, but the latter has to treat well the Prime Minister of an important colony which has given a strong, though, on account of its criminal lack of self-restraint, a perfectly useless auxiliary force. '
