LODGE MEETINGS
A well-attended meeting of the Island Bay Lodge No. 57, was held in St. Hilda's Schoolroom last everting, A.D. Bro. Clayton presiding. Visitors prosent were District President Bro. S. L. Hall (No. 21 District) and Arch Druid Bro. J. Mailey (Pacific Lodge). The balance-sheet as presented by the secretary was received and adopted. A report was received re the recent conference of Friendly Society delegates .and the medical fraternity, 'which was discussed at some length. A vote of thanks was accorded Bro. J. Durrant for his services to the lodge, and it was decided to present him with a P.A. diploma. The election, of District President for the ensuing term resulted in P.A. Bro. Beer recording the largest number of votes. The election has yet to be contested in Coronation and Melrose lodges. The election of officers resulted as follows, and all were duly installed by D.P.
