THE " SMILING ANGEL "
FAMOUS STATUE TO BE RESTORED.
LONDON, 2nd December. It was recently reported that a rich American had bought the head of the famous "Smiling Angel," universally known as "Le Sourire de Reims." ' The statue was smashed during the bombardment.
The Daily Chronicle says that a priest recovered the head amongst the debris, and that the statue is being restored.
