(BT TBLBGBATH.— PEEBS ASMCIATIOH.) AUCKLAND, 15th October. The Anglican Synod opened to-day. Bishop Averill delivered his charge, dealing in the main with the war and the lessons the Chnrch and the people might gather therefrom. Officials and committees were appointed, and the report of the Standing Committee was considered.
