Williamson was fined 106, with costs 7s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment. For performing plumbing work without being a registered plumber, Job Harrison was fined 20s, with costs 7s, in default three days' in gaol. CIVIL CASES. Judgment i for plaintiff by default was given in the following undefended civil cases : — Benge and Pratt v. B. E. Skelton, £3 12s lid, costs sb, solicitor's fee ss ; A. K. Jowitt v. Jas. .Burling, £6 9s 3d, costs Bs, solicitor's fee ss; A. and N. Keys v. B. E. Skelton, £3 11s Bd, costs ss, and solicitor's fee ss. The case L. M. Hobbs v. J. M. Ferguson, claim by plaintiff for 17 Golden Hamburg cockerels and pullets alleged to have been detained by defendant, was settled by a payment of 17s, defendant to keep the birds. In a counterclaim, J. M. Ferguson v. L. M. Hobbs, Mr. Neilson appearing for plaintiff wd Mr. Webb for defendant, judgment was given for plaintiff for £13 14s lOd, with costs 10s, and Solicitor's fee £1 6s. In the judgment summons, Joseph Ricketts v. Alfred Marsden, debtor was ordered to pay amount on or before 31st October, 1915.
