News was received last Saturday by Constable Gundin, Upper Hutt, of the death of his brother, S. H. T. Gundin, in action at the Dardanelles. Deceased was attached to the Naval Brigade. He was a fine stamp of man, being one of a family all over six feet in height. His death will be regretted by all who knew him. The constable also has in one of the London hospitals a brother who is suffering from wounds. Mr. S. J. Gully, who has severed hisconnection with the firm of W. and G. Turnbull and Co. in order to join the Forces, was met by his late colleagues yesterday, and presented with a small token of esteem in the shape of a wristlet watch. The presentation was made by Mr. James Id 'ln tosh.
