There is no change to report in the local grain market, th«Te being- no demand for either wheat or oats, and none offering. The potato market is firm without further change in price. The demand is ohiefly from Auckland and Napier, and a quantity is still going to Australia. So far there are no reports of damage to early crops by frost in the North Island, but in the North of Auckland blight is prevalent in consequence of the season being wet and mild. TRUST AND AGENCY COMPANY. LONDON, 12th October. The Trust and Agency Company of Australasia has declared an interim dividend of 5 per cent.
