THE SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
A pleasant evening was spent at the Sailors' Friend Society last night, when musical items were rendered by Mr. and Mrs. Peek and party. Between the items theie were various competitions. The evening ended with a hearty vote of thanks to the performers. The following contributed to the programme : — Mrs. Peek, Messrs. Peek, Clarke, Hyams, Stroppen (Kaikoura), and Musslei-s and Katong (Rimutaka). The pianiate was Miss Gallichan.
