THIRTEEN BULOWS FALLEN

The Berlin miltary organ, Kreuzzeitung, states that at the beginning of the ■wax there were 107 members of the Bulow family in the Germany Army and Fleet. Of these thirteen have fallen, as follows : — General-Major Karl Ulrich yon. Bulow, -brother of Prince Bulow, died 7th August, 1914, in Belgium. Gottfried Count Bulow 1 yon Dennewitz fell at Guravka, in Russia, on sth October. Capfc. Bodo Baron yon Bulow was killed by a stray bullet at Bucquoi, on 3rd December. Max yon Bulow, officer in the Nurnberg, fell on Bth December in the naval battle near the Falkland Islands. Curt yon Bulow, adjutant of battalion, fell in the storming of Karukov, north of Lovicz, in Russia, on 12th December. Friedrich yon Bulow, captain of reserve, fell on 20th Februa,vy near Bialazev. Major Wilhelm yon Bulow fell in Flanders, being shot through the head on 22nd April.
