o VOLUNTEER WORKERS WANTED. The Record Branch of the Defence Department is overworked, and a call has been made for volunteer assistants. Already sixty helpers have responded to the _ call. Mrs. Algar Williams has organised a section of twenty ladies to do clerical work between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ; Mr. H. F.
