"Student."—Dr. Thacker's quotation in the House of llepresentatives, "Fat and greasy," is apparently not from "Julius Caesar," but from "As You Like It." In Act ii., scene 1., the First Lord, speaking to Duke senior, quotes Jacques soliloquy on the passing of the. deer as follows: —Ay, sweep on you fat and greasy citizens; 'tis just the fashion: ■wherefore do you look upon that poor and broken bankrupt there. George Dempster (Otaki).—The son would be of the same nationality as his father. A summary of the provisions of th« War Pensions Act appeared in The Post of the ldth August.
