MANAWATU TRAINS
The question of running all Manawatu trains into Lambton Railway Station was again discussed at last night's meeting of the Onslow Borough Council. A motion in connection with the matter was moved by Councillor J G Smith, and it was decided to organise a deputation, to the Minister o£ Railways. The great inconvenience caused to all travellers by the present 6ysfcem was stressed by councillors, and it was generally agreed that something should be done at once, seeing that_ the erection of a. central railway station was postponed indefinitely on aocount of the war. The 00-operation- of members of Parliament for all the district© concerned is to be obtained.
