A NONSUIT
'A. non-suit, with £2 2s costs, was entered by Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon, in a claim for £30 13s 2d, and £5 17s 6d interest, brought by A. S. Taylor and Sons, furniture manufacturers, Dunedin, against James S. Scoullar, late railway employee, now in camp at Trentham with 'the 7th Reinforcements. Mr. j 0. Beere, who appeared for defendant, stated that the money had been paid, but the receipts were in Dunedin. Mr. Ar M. Thomson appeared for plaintiffs.
