DOMINION'S IRON DEPOSITS
"In London I found two wealthy corporations willing to put over half a million each into our iron fields and to use the latest machinery and methods," said Mr. A. Gualter, who returned to New Zealand to-day, in speaking to a Post reporter. "Their conditions, however, display a distrust on the one hand of our labour laws, and, on the other hand, that after the establishment of iron works first experimental laws may preclude them from reaping the reward of their enterprise. In the large inlana cities I found several wealthy men with large iron interests willing to discuss the finding of money and the establishment of iron works, subject to independent or satisfactory reports and assurance of the retention by them of the legitimate profits of their capital and labour."
