A BILL TO FIX THE NUMBER. THE MAXIMUM OF NINE. The Bill which the Government intend to introduce to settle the matter of the education boundaries will deter- 1 mine the number of boundaries as nine. As so little time remains this session, the very difficult problem of fixing the districts and their boundaries will be left to the Council of The Bill will be introduced to-day. There is likely to be discussion on the whole subject of education boundaries when it is submitted. So far, the report of the Boundaries Commission has been very little discussed in the lobbies. It is, indeed, likely that a majority of the members of the House would favour the recommendation of seven districts.
