WAR LEAGUE'S ACTIVITIES
The War League has undertaken to assist in the conduct of the additional recruiting offices which the Defence De« pactment intends to open in the city. The suggestion is that & rota shall be, formed of reliable volunteers to take charge of the offices for staled period*. Anj' men who have the time at their disposal and are willing to assist the League are invited to communicate with the acting-secretary, Mr. S. A. Atkinson, Box 246, G.P.0., or the actingchairman, Mr. H. F. yon Haast (Meek and yon Haast), Brandon-street, Box 669. G.P.0., Telephone 1178.
