WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE
m The meeting held at Xower Hutt last evening for the purpose of forming a branch of the Women's National Reserve was highly enthusiastic. The chair was occupied by the Mayor (Mr. H. Baldwin). It was decided to form a sub-committee of the Reserve, and Mrs. Cameron was elected president and Miss Bonny secretary. In the course of a stirring address, Mrs. A. R. Atkinson urged the necessity for "speeding up" recruiting. The speaker also stressed the need of general organisation, for the better organised the nation was the sooner the war would end.
