SOCIALISTS' DECISION
TO SUPPORT V KITCHENER J S DEMANDS. LONDON, 30th September. The Socialist National Defence Committee has telegraphed to Mr. C. H. Bowerman (Labour M.P.), urging British Labour to support all Lord Kitchener's demands, irrespective of trade union rules or conventions. The committee pledges itself to deal with the unpatriotic capitalists after the war. KISSES FOR RECRUITS BARRED LONDON, 30th September. Daisy Irving, the actress, arranged to kiss every recruit in a march through the streets. At the last moment,, the War Office forbade the exhibition.
