MEDICAL EXAMINATION
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. Owing to the shortage of doctors consequent on 60 many being required at the front, the final M.B. and Ch. B. examination in New Zealand was. held in Dunedin last month, instead of in January, the staff of the Otago University foregoing a part of its vacation to enable that to be done. There, wer* 27 candidates, and' the following passed : — Aldred Frederick Bertram, Philip Blaxland Benham, Mary Francesca Compere Dowling. Herbert Miller Hay, Amos William Johnston, Artnur Kidd, Francis Dewebury Pinfold, Oswald James R-eid, Stuart Scoular, Arthur Henry Aylmer Vivian, Eric Melvyn Wyllie, Robert Hector Baxter, ' Herbert Leslie Gould, George BrownW Isdale, Doris Clifton Jolly. Douglas Martin, George Harold Robertson, William Jamieson Reid, William Henry Simpson, Alexander Duncan Shanks Whyte, and Warren Hastings Young.
