PETONE MAN'S DISAPPEARANCE

The disappearance of a man named George Asplefc, residing at 65, Nelson* street, Petone, late on Wednesday evening, h causing some fear to bo expressed as to his eafeiy. Prior to his disappearance Asplet had been suffering from a. nervous breakdown. The missing man is about 30 years of _ age, sft 6in in height, of a pale complexion, and was wearing a dark suit, brown sweater, black boots, light brown cap, and a dark green overcoat. Asplet was employed at tho Gear Company for some years, but recently had been working at the Potone Gas Works. The efforts of the Hutt and Petone Police to discover ihe_ missing man have so far proved unavailing.
