AYRSHIRE CATTLE
(»T TEIiEQKAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) OAMARU, 12fch August. An important sale of Aryshire cattle was held at Herbert to-day, when the ■well-known herd of Mr. James Frew was submitted to public auction. Thera was a fair attendance of buyers._ The stock was in poor condition, owing to the very dry season, and bidding was slow. Pedigree cows brought up to £29 10s, and pedigree bulls to 10 guineas.
