TURKEY AND BULGARIA NEGOTIATIONS REPORTED TO HAVE FAILED
(Received June 28, 9.35 a.m.) ROME, 27th June. Turkey's negotiations with Bulgaria have failed, but those of the Entente are progressing. Bulgaria's negotiations with Rumania continue. TURKEY PREFERS PEACE TO CONCESSIONS. SOFIA, 27th June. The newspaper Mir states that Turkey has indicated that she prefers making peace with the Entente to making any concessions to Bulgaria. ADRIANOPLE ABANDONED. ROME, 27th June. The Messagero states that the Turks have evacuated Adrianople and with* drawn their troops to the Chataldja lines. Warnings have been issued to Bulgarian reservists in Italy to be in readiness to join the colours at a moment's notice. BULGARIAN MINISTER GOES HOME. SOFIA, 27th June. M. Kolusheff, the Bulgarian Minister at Constantinople, has returned to Sofia with Halil Bey, the President of the Turkish Parliament. TURKISH AMBASSADOR LEAVING ROME, (Received June 28, 9 a.m.) ROME, 27th June. It is understood that the Turkish Ambassador has demanded his passports.
