The Premier (Mr. Holmmi), 111 & statement made at the request of the Natives' Association, states that Aug" tralia, to make an effort proportionate to that of . "A further effort to increase the scale- of our contribution was essential if wo are to do our share in bringing the war to a victorious conclusion." Mr. Holman announced that in future no Government Departmental orders would be given to Australian firms whose capital was mostly subscribed by Germans.
