THE DAMAGED CRUISER
BERLIN SAYS IT WAS A MINOTAUR. AMSTERDAM, 27tli June.. The Berlin official version of the torpedoing of the armoured cruiser Roxburgh, which was sliglitly injured and was able to proceed, says that a sub' marine on 20th June, 100 miles from the Firth of Forth, torpedoed a British armoured cruiser of the Minotaur class. The torpedo got home, but it was impossible to observe the effect. [The Minotaur and Roxburgh classes have both four funnels* but there are great differences in their appearance, and the Minotaurs are enormously more powerful, us well fls larger, than the Roxburgh^.]
