HISTORIC TARVIS THREATENED BY ITALIANS FIRMER HOLD ON THE ISONZO.

ROME, 27th June. The bombardment of the Hensel and Plezzo forts threatens Tarvis, through which all the great invasions of Austria from Italy have been made. Hensel covers Tarvis from the west and Pilezzo from the south.
