SOME TROUBLE EXPERIENCED. I LONDON, 25th June. 1 Mr. Hs J. Tennant, Under-Sieoretary for Wai", in the House of Commons, said that certain difficulties had arisen in the use of the Ross rifle supplied to the I Canadians. The matter was 'being inI vestigated. Meanwhile, some of the Canadians were armed with Lee-En-fielda, [The Canadian Ross rifle, a very fine weapon, is in its most efficient form bored for a calibre smaller than the British service rifle, but is also made of .303 calibre, It is not unlikely that the Canadians are using Borne of the small bore rifles, and that the difficulty has arisen through the variation in the size of the ammunition.}
