ANOTHER HEIGHT CAPTURED FIERCE ATTACKS REPULSED. TURIN, 25th June, THe Italians on Tuesday seized the crest of Averde, a mountain at the head of the Niedergail Valloy, and the highest point between the head of the valley and Oregon's Pass. The Anstrians made four attempts to retake the Italian positions at Monte Croce Pass, but were repulsed by the Alpini, leaving two hundred dead. Fierce Austrian attacks at Monte Piano were foiled.
